Healthy spine, healthy life!

In this BYSJ Posture Workshop, you will learn and practice how to stretch your spine for maximum benefit. Anyone can do it, and everyone is welcome.

In Bikram Yoga, we stretch the spine to restore space between the vertebrae, take pressure off the discs, and strengthen and develop the back muscles. This has a beneficial effect on the internal organs, spinal cord, and nervous system. It’s the path to a vibrant and joyful life!

Led by staff teacher Sarah Newman, and assisted by Kerry Hyman and Matt Newman, we will work with simple, preparatory exercises and select Bikram Yoga postures. You’ll learn easily understood and repeatable techniques to create, restore, and maintain your healthy spine and get the most from your 90-minute Bikram Yoga practice.
