In Bikram Yoga, we stretch the spine to restore space between the vertebrae, take pressure off the discs, and strengthen and develop the back muscles. As if this weren’t enough, it has a beneficial effect on the internal organs, the spinal cord, and the nervous system. Beyond that, it is the path to a vibrant and joyful life.
Lead by staff teacher Sarah Newman, we will work with simple, preparatory exercises and select Bikram Yoga postures. You’ll learn easily understood and repeatable techniques to create, restore, and maintain your healthy spine and get the most from your 90-minute Bikram Yoga practice.
