11th annual International Day of Yoga

The 11th annual International Day of Yoga is on Saturday, June 21. It’s a great day to reflect on what this practice means to us and does for us. We’ll be celebrating with free yoga classes all day and a posture workshop – it’s the perfect day for a visit to BYSJ!
International Day of Yoga is a United Nations resolution that aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. The theme this year is “Yoga for one earth, one health.”
“Yoga embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action, restraint and fulfillment – it’s a holistic approach to health and well-being. Yoga is not just exercise – it’s a way to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world, and nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well-being.”
NARENDRA MODI, INDIAN PRIME MINISTER
Free classes all day!
International Day of Yoga is a perfect day to open our doors to anyone who wants to experience Bikram Yoga. Bring your family and friends – anyone new to us should create an account, then pre-register for a free class beginning June 7.
