How did you first discover Bikram Yoga?

A friend showed Bikram Yoga
On Prospect near Saratoga
I learned to bend
In heat and humidity
Enhances body mobility, system fluidity, and mind lucidity

What have you gained from your yoga practice?

I repair with asana, breath, and air
Some poses with admirable flair
Kapalbhati breathing of fire
A place to practice, sweat, and gather
Savasana, then I shower and lather

What has been your greatest struggle or accomplishment?

I accomplished ten 60 Day Challenges
As a human, radiant wife, mom, and full-time worker
I stay focused every 90 minutes in 26×2 poses
Never in class think about a burger
Yoga can fix any physical discomfort and disorder

What advice would you give to new students or those struggling with their practice?

Gratitude is the right attitude
Positivity takes one to a higher altitude
Camaraderie brings joy and magnitude
Harshness to self or to others, no aim for beatitude
Strive for good mood, don’t retrude

What do you like to do outside of yoga?

I enjoy transformations
Nature, meaningful teachings, stories, life reflections
Brilliant books and powerful podcasts
Time with family and friends who fill my cup
